Made from soft, breathable stretch fabric, it gently hugs your body while providing the support needed for its built-in baby carrier. For the kangaroo pouch to function properly and securely support your newborn, the shirt must fit closely without feeling too tight or restrictive. A loose-fitting shirt will not provide adequate support.
- The pouch extender is meant to allow taller babies to remain secure in the pouch, it is not intended to support a newborn’s head and neck.

The pouch is intended for newborns between 7 and 15 lbs. For most babies, that's at least for the first 3-4 months (some longer!) The shirt can also be worn without a baby, and no one will notice!
