Sizing Tips:

  • The Beelaunch Dad Shirt is meant to be fitted, like your favorite spandex blend workout shirt, not your lounging t-shirt. It is made from a Polyester and Spandex blend to provide the necessary support and function of a baby carrier. In order for the Beelaunch Dad Shirt to function properly and securely hold your newborn, it must be form fitting to your body. A loose shirt will not function properly.
  • The pouch extender is meant to allow taller babies to remain secure in the pouch, it is not intended to support a newborn’s head and neck.
  • There is a layer of mesh inside the pouch to support skin-to-skin-like contact.

How can we help?

FAQs

What's the weight limit of the Beelaunch Dad Shirt pouch?

The pouch is intended for newborns between 7 and 15 lbs. For most babies, that's at least for the first 3-4 months (some longer!) The shirt can also be worn without a baby, and no one will notice!

How is the Beelaunch Dad Shirt supposed to fit?

The Beelaunch Dad Shirt should fit close to your body-like a performance workout shirt, not a loose tee. It needs to be snug to securely support your baby and function properly as a carrier. A loose fit won’t provide the support needed for safe babywearing.

What if I am between sizes?

Since the Beelaunch Dad Shirt runs a little small and is meant to be fitted, we would recommend sizing up if you're between sizes!

Can I walk around with both hands free?

The pouch does support much of your newborn's weight, however, we still recommend that you always keep one hand on the baby while they are in the pouch.

How is the Beelaunch Dad Shirt different from a traditional baby carrier?

The Beelaunch Shirt is designed specifically for the newborn stage, when babies want close, calming contact — not a structured carrying system.

Unlike traditional carriers or wraps, it has no straps, buckles, or complicated wrapping. You simply put it on like a shirt and gently hold your baby close for calm bonding moments at home or during light movement.

Traditional carriers are built for long outings and heavier babies, while the Kangaroo Pocket T-Shirt is a soft, comfort-focused option for newborns (7–15 lbs) when simplicity and closeness matter most.

Many parents use both — this for the early weeks, and a structured carrier later on.

Can I wear it throughout the day?

Absolutely! The shirt is designed for all-day comfort. Whether you're at home or out and about, it offers a convenient way to carry your baby close to you.

Is this suitable for first-time dads?

Absolutely. The Beelaunch Dad Shirt was created to be simple, intuitive, and reassuring, even if you’ve never worn your baby before.

Is the shirt safe for babies hips?

The pouch is designed with enough room for your baby’s legs to sit in the natural "frog" position, promoting healthy hip development and preventing hip dysplasia-exactly what pediatricians recommend.

How secure is the pouch?

Safety is our top priority. The Beelaunch Dad Shirt is strength-tested and CPSC safety tested to help keep your baby snug, supported, and secure.

Is the Beelaunch Dad Shirt suitable for newborns?

Yes, the shirt is designed for newborns and can be used until your baby reaches the recommended weight limit (15 lbs-7 kg).

How do I wash the Beelaunch Dad Shirt?

Machine wash on cold with like colors. Line dry when possible. Low heat iron if needed.

Why is it a premium price?

If you read some of our customer reviews you will see how this shirt is the highest quality many of our customers have ever owned. Also it is incredibly comfy for the newborn.
